Osborn Family Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Camden and surrounding communities, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing team. Position Summary

The Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, focusing on prevention, chronic disease management, health promotion, and coordination of care. The physician will work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver evidence-based, compassionate care in both in-person and virtual settings.

Schedule

  • Monday: 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Rotating On-Call Schedule
  • Flexible Scheduling Available: 3 to 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients across the lifespan.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate.
  • Deliver preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and patient education.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to expand patient access to care when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health providers, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health programs.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Support the mission and goals of Osborn Family Health Center through active engagement in patient care and organizational initiatives.
  • Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Current Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Active DEA and CDS registrations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Commitment to serving diverse and medically underserved populations.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience practicing in a community health center, FQHC, or outpatient primary care setting.
  • Familiarity with value-based care, population health management, and care coordination.
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
